About Me 🚀


First year medical student who studied biology, chemistry and psychology at Alevel (achieved 3As).

I am a friendly and supportive person who is able to explore creative and engaging ways of teaching to build an interactive and comfortable learning environment.

Teaching Experience 📝

Worked as a teaching assistant at an arabic school. Roles included admin work at the office, mentoring non arabic speakers, organising and planning lessons.

Skill explored throughout this experience were working under pressure in a busy environment, creativity in ways of teaching as I mentored children of different ages and abilities, and problem solving.

Also volunteered as a chemistry student ambassador at college. Roles included mentoring students with challenging exam questions and explaining difficult concepts to them, Skills explored throughout this experience were teamwork (as work was shared amongst a team of ambassadors), problem solving and excellent communication skills.

Also volunteered as a psychology mentor at college where I mentored a year 12 student all throughout the year. Roles included teaching difficult concepts, helping with exam questions and following up the student's exam progress throughout the year.

Skills explored throughout this experience were committment towards meeting up and following up progress, communication and active listening skills to tailor teaching skills specific to the student and their abilities.
