Teaching Experience 📝

For the past 2 years, I have been working part time as a teacher assistant within a tuition centre. My role involves working with primary school children on an individual level, and explaining to them concepts they find difficult. I make my sessions engaging, by testing the students at the end, to make sure that they understand clearly.

My job also involves helping out within the classroom (e.g. marking homework, class tests etc.), as well as helping out the teacher.Additionally, at the beginning of this year, i privately tutored a year 11 student, with GCSE maths, science and english. This was done remotely every week, and involved me organising and creating lessons on the subjects and topics of her choice. At the end of the sessions, the student and i would go over questions and the mark scheme together, so that she had a thorough understanding of what examiners look for in answers.
